Psychotherapy provides you with the best possible treatment available in relation to major disruptions that have impacted your life. Whether these are a detriment to your eating, mood or thinking. It is usually a long term therapy that can range from six months up to two years. In my practice, by engaging in therapeutic sessions you will receive support where distress, emotional disturbance, or negative discharge will turn vision to evidence-based with a direct approach.

Behaviour Disorder

Behaviour focuses on visible outward actions. With the right therapy, you can regain normality from the erratic or unpredictability that others may see as ‘too far from the norm’. Whether individual or a process of thought you can receive healing! Socially we can help you build confidence and trust by leading a healthy life.

Eating Disorder

Eating disorders arise from life’s disappointments, for example, loss of family members or friends, marital breakdown, loss of a job, financial crisis and others.  As a result, you are not able to separate your emotions from your normal eating habits and begin to skip meals neglecting self and body image. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can help you with negative thoughts and find your way back through techniques to a normal healthy life.

Mood Disorder 

Mood disorders of Major depressive disorder is a prolonged and persistent period of extreme sadness. Bipolar disorder or manic depression or bipolar affective disorder, that results in intermittent times of depression and mania. Premenstrual dysphoric disorder — mood changes and irritability that occur during the premenstrual phase of a woman’s cycle and go away with the onset of menses. Including Suicidal ideation (thoughts) of struggles in wanting to give up on life.  Psychotherapy in my practice offers various treatments of CBT or Family-based Therapy that help shift distorted on inconsistent circumstances. They remove unwanted negative emotions, behaviour, and thoughts by slowly improving your attitude.  You may feel sad, empty or have bouts of depression, with the help of treatment you can improve stability in life. Anxiety disorders can also affect your mood and often occur along with depression.

Thinking Disorder 

I help you balance your belief, thoughts and perception by removing anxiety, anger, hopelessness or feeling overwhelmed. If you find that you’re not yourself, then I help you through the confusion. I do this by managing your negative beliefs through various techniques and developing new ways of living from day to day. Helping you to gain clarity and direction that overcomes any challenges in your life.

Mood disorders may increase your risk of suicide so seek help as soon as possible.
