Take control of your situations before they control you! At times, unexpected circumstances may arise. How you respond to this can allow you to be 'out of control’ or remain 'in control’. For example, if someone is shouting at you, then you can respond in a quiet manner. To shout back would only escalate the situation. However, to remain quiet will deescalate the problem. Look at your situations objectively. Do you respond to impulse? If this is the case, why not take a step back and analyse the situation before deciding to take a course of action! You can say “I am open to the insights of others”. Because you’re already aware situations that occur in life, teach us many things. For example, you’re personality. Stay in control of your emotions even when unexpected situations happen in your life. Look for opportunities through difficulties, and be successful! In life, there are trials that test our faith, things that we hoped wouldn’t affect us. Yet they do! What is our response? Do you look at situations in your life objectively? Do you respond in haste?  Consider first what the outcome of your response will be. Say ‘I have outgrown the need to respond impulsively to stressful situations’. Take a step back and analyse before you decide the best course of action.
